Lucky Bee Gin reached out as they needed us to produce an illuminated company logo in a way so that it could be mounted to the front of their trade show stand. The logo needed to be illuminated and had to resemble their logo which was in the shape of a bee. Usually this would be fairly straightforward for us to produce, however the bee’s antenna and legs made it tricky for us to produce the logo in a way which we could ensure the logo would be durable as it was to be positioned on the front of a gin bar so it could get easily knocked or bumped into. The solution was to produce the logo in a way where we could turn the bee’s legs and antenna into a fixing bracket which we could bolt to the front of the stand, and which would support the main body of the bee logo.
By producing the illuminated company logo in this way, it also ensures the logo would the spaced off the wood enough to allow the light to shine out the back of the logo. The customer was very happy with this signage solution and sent us some photos!
White LED modules are often installed in the rear of the logo as it's a nice way to illuminate the logo as the logo glows from behind, which nicely draws your attention to the branding. More examples of some back-illuminated logos can be found here
