External Hanging Signs and Projection Signs positioned on a building's facade play a big role in being found when customers are walking along the pavement and it's incredibly important that it is done right as customers tend to judge you by your cover and it only reflects on how professional you are as a business. A hanging shop sign that looks unprofessional or one that is badly executed will inevitably lose you business.
Hanging signs are an interesting division of sign making because of all the different possibilities which range right across the spectrum from simple landscape or portrait rectangular boards to 3D illuminated signs and bespoke shape projection boards. You really do have a blank canvas to create exactly what you want and the sky is the limit!
As well as the more traditional rectangular or square sign boards you find along a high street, we're able to produce hanging signs in a bespoke shape or size to cater for your design ideas. Using a large format CNC router, we're able to cut the hanging sign board a whichever shape you desire - from straightforward circular designs to more complex shapes.
The sign is then sign-written to display the shop name using vinyl decals which are applied to the surface of the paint. Alternative methods of signwriting can be used such as gold-leaf or hand painted sign-writing, depending on the style of sign you desire.

Illuminating your hanging sign
An easy way to transform your hanging sign into an illuminated sign is by using an external LED lighting system. The lighting unit consists of two lighting bars which are positioned above the hanging sign and which projects light down to make it visible at night.
Typically produced in black to match the colour of the wall bracket, the aluminium casing can also be painted to an alternative colour of choice if required. The sleek and stylish light houses all the LED light modules and transformer powersupply within the tubular casing. Using the industry standard 6000k cool white LED lighting modules, the external lighting system ensures that both sides of the hanging sign is well illuminated. Warm-white lighting is also available upon request.
Manufactured to order, the External Pictorial Lighting System is produced to the same width of the signboard and is suitable for both landscape and portrait style signs. The light bracket clamps onto the hanging sign wall bracket to ensure the lighting is rigid and positioned above the signboard.
The built-in power supply unit ensures that the lighting unit is compact and discreet enough to reduce the amount of components needed to power the sign which leaves just a twin cable needing to be connected the mains.
